松戸市でのマンションリノベーションの事例です。30代ご夫婦と小さなお子さんの家族が住まわれます。食べることが中心にある家をデザインし、ともにつくりました。家族との普段の食事、お友達とのディナーなど、「作る」ことと「食べる」ことが、いつもすぐ隣になる様なキッチンとダイニングの在り方を考えました。
This is an apartment renovation case in Matsudo, Chiba. A 30’s couple and their small child live in this apartment. We designed and built together to have meals at the center of their life. We thought how the relation of the kitchen and the dining should be, if “cooking” and “eating” are close to each other when they have meals together, and when they eat a dinner with their friends.
作りながら、家族や友人の何気ない会話が聞こえてくる。食べながら、野菜をトントンと切る様子が見える。言葉でのコミュニケーションと同じくらい、聞こえること、見えることで、私たちはたくさんのことを知ったり、感じたりしていると思います。そんな環境を、家族がいつも過ごす場所の中で実現できればと考えました。
He or she can hear the conversation of family or friends while cooking, and kids can see parents cutting vegetables . We know and feel lots of things through hearing and seeing, as well as verbal communication. We tried to realize such a visually- and hearingly-rich environment.
